It's been a great year for The Black Keys. 'El Camino' was released to absolutely stunning reviews, and in my eyes - and ears - they were well deserved.
The Black Keys are an American blues-rock duo from Ohio, who had sold over 2 million albums in the US by October 2011, before even the release of this, their seventh studio album.

The Black Keys formed in 2001 and have been releasing music since their debut album in 2002, I've been aware of them only in the past few years and have almost all of their albums on my iPod, laptop and my r4 card too.
They won three Grammy awards this year for Best Rock Performance and Best Alternative Album and Best Recording Package for their 2010 album 'Brothers'. They were nominated for two others, and have been nominated for one this year for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Dearest" from "Rave On Buddy Holly", a compilation of his greatest hits.
